Luscious Lemon Bars

  • Yield 30 pieces


1 cup soft butter
1 dash salt
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 cups flour
4 whole beaten eggs
2 cups granulated sugar
1/4 cup flour
6 tablespoons lemon juice


  1. Mix crust ingredients, lightly press into 9×12 pan, bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
  2. Meanwhile, mix filling ingredients.
  3. Allow crust to cool slightly, then pour filling gently over, making sure it touches all edges of the pan.
  4. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
  5. Cool slightly, then dust top with powdered sugar. Cool completely.
  6. Cut into bars.
