Light alfredo sauce

  • Yield 4 servings


1 package Lite cream cheese
1/2 cup butter
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1-1/12 cup low fat milk
6 ounces grated Parmesan cheese
1 dash nutmeg
1 dash parsley
1 dash oregano


  1. Melt butter in a medium pan over medium heat;
  2. Add garlic and cream cheese and stir with wire whisk until smooth;
  3. Add milk, a little at a time, while whisking to stir out lumps;
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese and remaining ingredients.
  5. Toss with pasta.
