Light alfredo sauce
- Yield 4 servings
- 1 package Lite cream cheese
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1-1/12 cup low fat milk
- 6 ounces grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 dash nutmeg
- 1 dash parsley
- 1 dash oregano
- Melt butter in a medium pan over medium heat;
- Add garlic and cream cheese and stir with wire whisk until smooth;
- Add milk, a little at a time, while whisking to stir out lumps;
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and remaining ingredients.
- Toss with pasta.
