Jazzy Chocolate Cupcakes

  • Yield: 1 dozen

Ingredients

1 2/3cups flour
1cup brown sugar
1/4cup cocoa
1teaspoon baking soda
1/2teaspoon salt
1cup water
1/3cup canola oil
1teaspoon vinegar
1/2teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  In a medium-sized bowl, mix dry ingredients with a fork. Add wet ingredients and mix just until blended – mixing too long will make the cupcakes tough.  Fill cupcake cups half-full. Bake 18-25 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean. Cool on rack.
