Chicken and Broccoli Cheese-Bake

2pounds Cut/Precooked Broccoli
2pounds Cubed raw Chicken Breast
2cans Cream of Chicken soup
1cup Mayonnaise
3teaspoons Lemon juice
1cup Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
1cup Bread crumbs
cup Sherry or White Merlot wine
5tablespoons Butter
-- Salt & Pepper; several shakes


Pre-prep mix the Chicken soup, mayonnaise and lemon juice in a
microwavable dish; heat on medium setting for 2-1/2 minutes mix well when done.
Also melt 2 tablespoons of butter and mix in the breadcrumbs. Set both aside for later.
Melt remaining butter in frying pan over medium-high heat, as butter
melts add the wine. Let butter finish melting and immediately add chicken. brown well on all sides adding salt & pepper as it cooks.
While chicken is cooking preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease bottom of a 9"x 13" glass cooking dish.
Place cooked broccoli in dish in a single layer and chicken over it when done. Spread soup/mayo mix over chicken/broccoli, spread shredded cheese evenly and then top with breadcrumbs. Bake for 40 minutes.
