PrintEmail Ingredients 1 pound sausage2 cans kidney beans1 large onion1 large bell pepper1 cup diced potatoes1 or 2 can tomatoes or tomato juice1 teaspoon garlic salt1 1/2 teaspoons seasoning salt1 teaspoon thyme1 large bay leaf1 quart water Instructions Brown sausage; drain. Add beans, onions, tomatoes or tomato juice, garlic salt, seasoning salt, thyme, bay leaf and water. Simmer 45 minutes to an hour. Add potatoes and bell pepper. Turn up heat and cook until potatoes are done. Note: For larger servings, use 2 pounds sausage and 3 cans kidney beans.
