Hot Spiced Tea

  • Yield 4 servings

Your guests will rave over this spiced tea.


1 quart boiling water
1/3 cup sugar
1 -- cinnamon stick
1 teaspoon whole cloves
3 -- tea bags
1 1/2 cups orange juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon grated orange zest


  1. Combine the boiling water, sugar, cinnamon stick and cloves in a medium saucepan.  Bring to a full rolling boil.  Remove from the heat and add the tea bags.  Steep for 4 minutes.  Strain through a sieve.  Stir in the orange juice, lemon juice and orange zest.  Serve hot.
