Hazelnut Mousse

  • Yield 8 servings


1 pint heavy cream
1 unit Nutella
2 teaspoons vanilla extract, high quality
2 teaspoons fine sugar
1/2 cup finely chopped hazelnuts
1 ounce finely grated dark chocolate


Whip cream until soft. Slowly add vanilla and sugar and continue whipping until stiff peaks form. Warm Nutella in a double boiler and fold gently into whipped cream. Spoon into serving dishes. Garnish with chopped hazelnuts and grated chocolate.
