Hamburger Stroganoff

  • Yield 6 servings


1 or 2 pound hamburger meat
1 clove garlic (minced0
3/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 teaspoon black peper
1/2 cup butter
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup green peppers
1 can mushrooms (drained)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
1 envelope ranch dressing
1 package egg noodles


Cook meat (drain and wash), add onion, bell pepper, butter, flour, salt, pepper, garlic, salt, and mushrooms.  (cook about 10 minutes)  Stir in soup.  (cook about 10 minutes uncovered), add in sour cream and ranch dressing and bring to boil and turn heat down and simmer for 10-15 minutes.

Cook egg noodles and mix together and serve.

 Add 1 can of green peas if desired.
