Ground Beef Casserole

  • Yield 8 servings

Ingredients

5 ounces Pkg Noodles
2 tablespoons Butter
1 1/2 pounds Ground Beef
1 teaspoon Salt - to taste
1 teaspoon Pepper - to taste
1/4 teaspoon Garlic salt
8 ounces Tomatoe sauce
1 cup Creamed cottage cheese
1 cup Sour cream
1/2 cup Chopped onions
3/4 cup Grated Sharp American cheese

Instructions

Cook noodles until tender in salted water: drain

Melt butter in skillet, add meat. Cook stirring until meat has lost red color. Add salt, pepper, garlic salt & tomatoe sauce.Simmer gently for about 5 min. Remove from heat

Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, onion and noodles.Place half of noodle  mixture in a 21/2 qt casserole.. Cover with meat mixture. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.

 

Top with grated cheese.

 

Bake 375 for 30 min.
