You are here: Home » Recipes » Ground Beef Casserole Ground Beef Casserole Recipe by Diane1943 Yield 8 servings PrintEmail Ingredients 5 ounces Pkg Noodles2 tablespoons Butter1 1/2 pounds Ground Beef1 teaspoon Salt - to taste1 teaspoon Pepper - to taste1/4 teaspoon Garlic salt8 ounces Tomatoe sauce1 cup Creamed cottage cheese1 cup Sour cream1/2 cup Chopped onions3/4 cup Grated Sharp American cheese Instructions Cook noodles until tender in salted water: drain Melt butter in skillet, add meat. Cook stirring until meat has lost red color. Add salt, pepper, garlic salt & tomatoe sauce.Simmer gently for about 5 min. Remove from heat Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, onion and noodles.Place half of noodle mixture in a 21/2 qt casserole.. Cover with meat mixture. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used. Top with grated cheese. Bake 375 for 30 min.
