Grilled Ham and Avocado Sandwich

-- Ham slices
-- Swiss cheese
-- Russian dressing
-- Avocado slices
-- Rye bread
-- Butter


  1. For each sandwich, spread Russian dressing on both slices of bread.
  2. Place ham on one slice, slices of avocado and Swiss cheese on the other.
  3. Place open-faced sandwiches on buttered griddle.  Cover, and cook slowly until cheese melts.  Be careful not to burn.
  4. Put both slices together.  Serve.
