Ingredients 1 cup water1 cup sugar1 cinnamon stick1 star anise4 peppercorns2 pears, peeled, cored and diced2 cups Greek yogurt1/2 cup walnuts, toasted and coarsely chopped Instructions Combine water, sugar, spices and pears in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until pears are tender, about 10 minutes. Place ½ cup of yogurt into each of 4 serving bowls. Top with pears and a little cooking liquid. Top with walnuts.
