Great Green Beans

1 pound fresh green beans
1/4 cup light margerine
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon grated lemon peel


  1. Place green beans in a steamer basket, place in a large sauce pan over 1 inch of water, Bring to boil, cover and steam 8-10 minutes, or until crisp-tender, Meanwhile in a small sauce pan, heat the remaining ingredients until margarine is melted, transfer beans to a serving bowl drizzle with margarine mixture and toss and coat.
