Equally delicious served warm or room temperature. Prepare or purchase 2-crust pie crust in advance Ingredients 2 pie crusts2 cups California Raisins2 cups water, divided1/2 cup brown sugar2 tablespoons cornstarch1 teaspoon cinnamon1/8 teaspoon salt1 tablespoon butter1 tablespoon lemon juice Instructions Preheat oven to 425F. Place bottom crust in 8-inch pie pan. Boil raisins and 1 3/4 cups of water for 5 minutes. Mix brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and salt in a separate bowl until well combined. After raisins and water have boiled for 5 minutes, add sugar mixture and remaining 1/4 cup water. Stir and return to a boil. Remove from heat. Add butter and lemon juice. Stir until butter is melted. Pour into pie shell. Cover with top crust, pinching edges together to form rim. Cut slits in top crust. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture. Bake 25 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool before slicing.
