PrintEmail Ingredients 1 package Baker's German Sweet Chocolate3 tablespoons butter1 -- (3-ounce) package cream cheese2 tablespoons butter1/4 cup sugar1 -- egg1 tablespoon flour1/2 teaspoon vanilla2 -- eggs3/4 cup sugar1/2 cup flour1/2 teaspoon baking powder1/4 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon vanilla1/4 teaspoon almond extract1/2 cup nuts, chopped Instructions Preheat oven to 350F. Melt chocolate and butter in double boiler, stirring constantly. Set aside to cool. Cream butter and cream cheese until soft; gradually add sugar. Stir in egg, flour and vanilla until well blended. Set aside. Beat eggs until fluffy; then gradually add sugar. Mix dry ingredients and fold into egg mixture. Add vanilla and almond extract. Blend in cooled chocolate mixture and nuts. Measure 1 cup chocolate mixture and set aside. Spread remaining chocolate mixture into greased 9-inch pan. Pour cheese mixture on top. Drop remaining chocolate mixture on to cheese mixture by spoonfuls and swirl just to marble. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool, cut into bars and refrigerate until served.
