Georgia Pralines

Ingredients
- 1cup brown sugar
- 2cups granulated sugar
- 1cup water
- 1tablespoon butter
- 1/4teaspoon salt
- 1teaspoon vanilla
- 3cups pecan halves
Instructions
- Line baking sheets with waxed paper. In saucepan combine sugars and water. Stir over medium heat until sugars are melted. Bring to boil; boil to soft ball stage (236F). Remove from heat; stir in butter, salt and vanilla. Beat until syrup starts to become creamy. Stir in pecans. Drop by teaspoon onto baking sheets. If candy becomes too hard to drop from spoon, place pan over hot water; stir a few drops of hot water into mixture to soften.
