The combination of caramelized garlic, wilted fresh spinach and nutmeg is brilliant.
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 6 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- 2 (10-ounce) bags prewashed spinach
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- pinch nutmeg
- Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and saute until lightly browned. Add spinach and stir well to combine. Continue to saute until wilted and bright green. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
