Garlic-Braised Greens

Take care to wash fresh leafy greens well and cook them thoroughly.


1 1/2 pounds torn greens, such as kale, turnip or collard greens
3 cloves cloves garlic, sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil


  1. Heat oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven. Add garlic; cook 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. Add greens; cook 5 minutes or until wilted and tender.
