Fudge Squares

-- Butter
1cup (packed) brown sugar
3/4cup self-rising flour
1/4cup cocoa
2teaspoons vanilla
1-- egg
1cup shredded coconut
3/4cup sweetened condensed milk
3tablespoons milk
-- Powdered sugar


  1. Melt 1/2 cup butter in saucepan; add brown sugar, flour, 2 tablespoons cocoa, 1 teaspoon vanilla and egg.  Mix until smooth; spread batter in greased 8-inch square pan.  Combine coconut and condensed milk; spread over batter.  Bake at 350F for 30 minutes.  Combine 1 tablespoon butter and milk in saucepan; bring to a boil.  Stir in remaining cocoa and vanilla; add enough powdered sugar to make of spreading consistency.  Ice brownies while warm.  Cool; cut into squares.
