Fruity Barbecue Sauce

You can use any flavor of jam in this recipe—just be sure to choose a seedless variety.


1cup ketchup
1 1/2cups fruit jam
1cup water
1/3cup cider vinegar
1/4cup brown sugar
1tablespoon onion powder
1/2teaspoon garlic salt
1/8teaspoon cayenne pepper


1. Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan over high heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Let cool and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Makes about 3 cups.
