Frozen Mocha Pie

- 1 package chocolate chips (12 oz.)
- 2 packages cream cheese, softened (8 oz. each)
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons powdered instant coffee
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 4 -- eggs, separated
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 4 cups whipped topping
- 1/4 pound butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Heat chocolate chips until melted; cool 10 minutes. Beat cream cheese, 2/3 cup brown sugar, coffee, salt and vanilla on low speed until smooth. Add egg yolks and chocolate. Beat on high speed until smooth. Beat egg whites on high speed until soft peaks form. Beat in 1/2 cup brown sugar until stiff peaks form. Fold egg whites into chocolate mixture.
Reserve 1 cup of the whipped topping; fold remaining whipped topping into chocolate mixture. Pour on crust. Mound remaining whipped topping on chocolate layer. Garnish with grated chocolate if desired. Cover. Freeze at least 8 hours. Remove from freezer 20 minutes before serving.
Crust Preparation: Combine, mix and spread in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool.
