PrintEmail Ingredients 1/2 cup sugar1/3 cup shortening (part butter)1 -- egg1 1/2 cups flour1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder1/2 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon nutmeg1/2 cup milk1/2 cup sugar1 teaspoon cinnamon6 tablespoons butter, melted Instructions Preheat oven to 350F. Cream sugar, shortening and egg. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating well after each addition. Fill greased miniature muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake at 350F for 12 to 15 minutes. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Remove muffins from pans immediately, dip in butter and roll in sugar mixture until coated.
