Easy Roast Beef with Gravy
- Yield 6 servings
- 3 pounds Chuck Roast (any size can be used))
- 2 cans Campbells Golden Mushroom Soup
- 1 package Lipton Onion or Beefy Onion Soup Mix
- 1 can water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place the roast in roasting pan, at least two inches deep. Dump the package of Lipton Onion Soup on top of the roast. Empty the contents of the two cans of Golden Mushroom soup on top of the roast. Pour the can of water into the pan. Cover and seal the top of the pan with aluminum foil. Place the roast in the oven and bake for 3 hours. Resist the urge to peek under the foil until it is done.
This is produces a fork-tender roast with gravy that is delicious. You may adjust this recipe for larger of smaller cuts of beef by reducing or increasing the amount of soup.
