Easy Pasta with Greens

Kids love the curly fusilli pasta, but any kind will work.
Use any in-season greens you like.. If you use a hearty green such as kale, saute longer in the skillet.
- 12 ounces long pasta, such as fusilli, fettucine, linguine or spaghetti
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- Fresh greens such as spinach or kale, cut into strips
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet. Add greens and garlic. Saute until tender, about 3 minutes for spinach and 10 for heartier greens, such as kale. Add hot pasta to skillet. Toss well. Use leftovers in Kitchen Sink Frittata.
