- 4 cups milk
- 6 ounces bittersweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder, preferably dark or dutch processed
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup cream
- In a double boiler, mix milk, chocolate, cocoa, and sugar.Cook, stirring occasionally with a whisk, until melted and smooth.
- Stir in cream.
- It is now ready to be ladled into small cups. If desired, top with whipped cream.
