DownEast Meat-Loaf with California Black Olives

  • Yield 6 to 8 servings
  • Prep 15 to 20 mins.
  • Cook 45mins to an hour


1 pound Lean Ground Beef
1 small onion (chopped)
1 stalk celery
1 whole egg
1/2 to 1 can California Black Olives (sliced)
1 slice White Bread (chopped with crust removed)
1/2 cup Heinz Ketchup
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Combine: Beef,onion,celery,olives,egg,bread, and seasonings in  a large bowl.

3.Shape Mixture into loaf and put into loaf baking pan.

4.Spread 1/2 cup of Heinz ketchup on top of loaf. Then place baking pan into oven and bake at 350 degrees for 45mins to an hour.

5.Remove baking pan from oven and allow it to cool.

6.Cut loaf into 1inch slices and serve.
