You are here: Home » Recipes » Deep, Dark Chocolate Cake Deep, Dark Chocolate Cake Recipe by nashuawolfy Yield Many servings PrintEmail Ingredients 1 3/4 cups unsifted all-purpose flour2 cups sugar3/4 cup Hershey's cocoa1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder1 teaspoon salt2 large eggs1 cup whole milk1/2 cup Canola oil2 teaspoons vanilla extract1 cup boiling water Instructions Grease and flour (or use Baking Pam) a 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine dry ingredients in large mixer bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla; beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Remove from mixer; stir in boiling water (batter will be thin). Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely. Frost with Whipped cream frosting.
