Chicken Curry Burgers with Apple Chutney

Ingredients
- For Burgers:
- 1 1/2 pounds Ground Chicken
- 1 whole egg
- 1/4 -- bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon Ground Black pepper
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Curry Powder
- 2 teaspoons Hot Sauce
- -- hamburger buns, mixed grain
- -- olive oil, for cooking
- For Chutney:
- 2 ounces Light Brown Sugar
- 1 ounce oNion, Finely diced
- 2 ounces Dried Cherries, chopped
- 1/2 ounce Walnuts, chopped
- 2 ounces Cider vinegar
- dash lemon juice
- dash ginger, grated
- 1 whole jalapeno
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 teaspoons garlic
- dash mace
- dash nutmeg
Instructions
Prep for Chutney:
1.add all ingriedents in a sauce pot and bring to simmer (except apples or cherries)
2.add apples and cherries and simmer until cooked down
3.cool chutney and store in air tight container until ready for use
For Burger:
1.Mix All ingredients in a bowl except olive oil and make six patties.
2.brush preheated grill or pan with olive oil
3.Cook patties 5-7 minutes on each side to ensure doneness
4.Add to Hamburger buns and top with apple chutney
