Crunchy Fudge Sandwiches

- 6 ounces butterscotch flavored morsels
- 1/2 cup crunchy style peanut butter
- 4 cups Rice Krispies
- 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon water
In a large saucepan, combine butterscotch morsels and peanut butter; heat until morsels melt and mixture is smooth.
Add rice cereal; stir until well coated with butterscotch mixtture.
Press half cereal mixture into buttered 8" square baking pan.
Chill in refrigerator while preparing fudge mixture.
Set remaining cereal mixture aside.
Combine over hot (not boiling) water the semi-sweet chocolate morsels, powdered sugar, butter and water; stir until morsels melt and mixture is smooth.
Spread over refrigerated cereal mixture.
Spread remaining cereal mixture over top evenly. Press gently
Chill in refrigerator until firm, 1 hour.
