Crock Pot Hot Fudge Cake
- Yield 8 servings
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
Instructions
Butter or spray inside surfaces of Crock Pot.
In Crock Pot, combine first eight ingredients (flour though vanilla extract). Spread evenly.
Combine brown sugar, 1/4 c. cocoa powder, and boiling water. Gently pour over flour mixture in Crock Pot.
Set Crock Pot to high and "bake" for two and a half hours. Turn Crock Pot off and let it sit for a half-hour. Cake will have formed on the top and a thick, delicious hot fudge sauce on the bottom.
It's great on its own, but even better served with vanilla ice cream and/or whipped cream!
