Cranberry Pie

  • Yield 4-5 servings


1 cup whole cranbaerries
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup walnuts
1 -- egg
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup melted margerine (or butter)
2 tablespoons Wesson Oil (or any kind oil)


Spread berries on bottom of greased 8" pie pan…sprinkle with 1/4 c sugar & nuts.  Add 1/2 c sugar gradually to egg & beat thoroughly.  Add flour & shortening to egg/sugar mixture.  Beat well.  Pour over top of cranberry mixture.  Bake @325 for 45 minutes or till golden brown.
