Cool Fruit Salad

Cherries, bananas, and pineapples make for a sweet, marshmallowy salad.



1 pint whipping cream
1 8-ounce can crushed pineapple drained
1 6-ounce jar maraschino cherries, drained and halved
2 chopped bananas
3/4 cup marshmallows
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon sifted powdered sugar


  1. Whip cream and fold in fruits and marshmallows.  Mix powdered sugar and mayonnaise and add to fruit mixture.  Freeze in flat 9-by-10-inch pan.  Cut in squares and serve on lettuce leaves.

Tips from our Test Kitchen: This sweet salad can be frozen in a flat dish to make individual square-shaped servings or in a loaf pan to be served in slices.
