Cool Fruit Salad
- Yield servings
- 1 pint whipping cream
- 1 8-ounce can crushed pineapple drained
- 1 6-ounce jar maraschino cherries, drained and halved
- 2 chopped bananas
- 3/4 cup marshmallows
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sifted powdered sugar
- Whip cream and fold in fruits and marshmallows. Mix powdered sugar and mayonnaise and add to fruit mixture. Freeze in flat 9-by-10-inch pan. Cut in squares and serve on lettuce leaves.
Tips from our Test Kitchen: This sweet salad can be frozen in a flat dish to make individual square-shaped servings or in a loaf pan to be served in slices.
