Coffee Topping

  • Yield: 2 cups


1cup strong coffee
1cup brown sugar
1/4teaspoon vanilla
1tablespoon brandy
-- Coffee or vanilla ice cream
-- Whipped cream
-- Toasted almonds


  1. Bring coffee and brown sugar to a boil and continue cooking 8 to 10 minutes, stirring constantly.  Remove from heat and add vanilla and brandy.  Cool.  Serve over coffee or vanilla ice cream and top with whipped cream and toasted almonds.
