- Yield 5 cups
This citrus tea makes a refreshing spring and summertime drink that will complement any front porch rocker.
- 3 cups water
- 2 -- cloves
- 1 -- family-size tea bag
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 2 to 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- Combine the water and cloves in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and add the tea bag. Let stand to steep for 10 minutes. Remove and discard the tea bag and cloves. Stir the sugar, pineapple juice, orange juice and lemon juice into the tea. Chill for 2 to 10 hours.
