Cinnamon Toasted Pecans

  • Yield 2 cups

These delicious candied pecans are great to set out for your holiday gatherings.


1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons water
1 -- egg white
2 cups pecan halves


  1. Combine sugar, salt and spices and mix well.  Add water to egg white beating until frothy.  Stir pecans into egg mixture until well coated.  Combine the sugar mixture; spread over buttered cookie sheet.  Bake at 350F for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.  Watch carefully.  Stir once after removing from oven.
