Cilantro Sauce

  • Yield 16 servings

This heady condiment is wonderful on grilled tofu or fish.


2 cups packed cilantro leaves
1/2 cup packed flat-leaf parsley
3 garlic cloves
3 scallions
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
2 teaspoons kosher salt
Juice of 1 lime


  1. Make sure cilantro and parsley are well washed. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor fitted with metal blade and process 45 seconds or until combined well. Makes about 1 cup.
