Chocolate Pudding Cake

  • Yield 6 to 8 servings


3/4 cup sugar
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup milk
3 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons cocoa
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 &1/2 cup water


  1. Mix all cake ingredients in a 9-inch pan.
  2. Sprinkle on dry topping ingredients.  Slowly pour water on top of cake.
  3. Bake in 350F oven for 45 minutes.  May be served warm or cool.
  4. May top with ice cream or Cool Whip.
