Chocolate-Pecan Pie

  • Yield: 8 servings


2/3cup evaporated milk
2tablespoons butter
1-- (6-ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate bits
1cup sugar
2-- eggs
2tablespoons flour
1/4teaspoon salt
1cup pecans
2teaspoons vanilla
1-- pie shell, unbaked


  1. Mix milk, butter and chocolate in double boiler.  Heat until chocolate melts.  Stir in remaining ingredients, adding vanilla last.  Pour into pie shell and bake 35  minutes at 375F.
