Chocolate-Pecan Pie

Try this easy recipe for a delicious pie.


2/3 cup evaporated milk
2 tablespoons butter
1 -- (6-ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate bits
1 cup sugar
2 -- eggs
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup pecans
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 -- pie shell, unbaked


  1. Mix milk, butter and chocolate in double boiler.  Heat until chocolate melts.  Stir in remaining ingredients, adding vanilla last.  Pour into pie shell and bake 35  minutes at 375F.
