Chocolate Pecan Pie

Ingredients

1 unit 10" pie crust - partially baked
3 units (squares) unsweetened chocolate
1 tablespoon water
4 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon coffee powder
4 -- eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1 cup dark corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons rum
2 cups pecans

Instructions

  • Melt first 4 ingredients (choc, water, butter, coffee)together in microwave. 
  • Beat eggs till mixed. 
  • Beat in sugar and syrup til mixed. 
  • Add liquids and melted chocolate mixture. 
  • Put pecans in pie shell. 
  • Pour liquid mixture over nuts. 
  • Bake at 350 for 40-50 inutes, until mixture wiggles and knife comes out slightly chocolatey.
