Chocolate Marshmallow Brownies

1/2 cup softened butter
4 -- eggs
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 can Hershey's chocolate syrup
1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 package large marshmallows
1/2 cup brown sugar
4 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup white sugar
4 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips


Put ingredients in a mixer bowl. Mix on slow until all ingredients are mixed. Place in a greased small baking pan (12 x 15-inch). Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until done. Take out of oven and place large marshmallows about two to three inches apart over the entire surface. Take a plastic spatula and dip in cold water. Smash marshmallows down with spatula until entire cake is covered with marshmallows.

Put frosting ingredients in a 8-cup glass microwaveable cup. Place plastic wrap over the top and secure edges all the way around. Microwave approximately five minutes or until liquid becomes syrupy. Remove from microwave and add chocolate chips. If frosting is too thick, add one to two teaspoons of milk. Mix thoroughly. Spread while hot on cake topped with marshmallows.

Cut into 3" bars. Eat and enjoy.
