PrintEmail Ingredients 10 tablespoons butter, at room temperature2/3 cup granulated sugar1/2 cup brown sugar, packed1 egg1 teaspoon vanilla extract1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour1/2 teaspoon salt1 1/2 cups chocolate chunks1/2 cup chopped walnuts Instructions Preheat oven to 350F. Combine butter and sugars in a large bowl. Beat until blended with a mixer at medium speed. Add egg and vanilla; beat until evenly blended. Reduce speed to low; add flour and salt and beat just until incorporated. Add chocolate chunks and walnuts and stir just until evenly distributed. Drop by heaping tablespoons 2-inches apart onto cookie sheets. Bake 15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool 3 minutes on cookie sheet on wire rack.
