PrintEmail Ingredients 2 cups sugar2 cups self-rising flour1/2 cup (1 stick margarine1/2 cup vegetable oil3 tablespoons baking cocoa1 cup water1 teaspoon vanilla extract2 eggs1/2 cup buttermilk Chocolate Icing Instructions Combine the sugar and flour in a bowl and mix well. Combine the margarine, oil, baking cocoa and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Pour over the sugar mixture and mix well. Add the vanilla, eggs and buttermilk and mix well. Pour into a 9×13-inch baking pan sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake at 300F for 45 to 60 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean.
