Chocolate Brown Sugar Cupcakes

Ingredients
- Cupcakes:
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2-1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 small eggs
- 1-1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons canilla extract
- 1/4 cup brewed coffee
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 ounces chocolate chips
- 2 ounces chocolate square, melted
- 1 pint heavy cream
- 1 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- To make the cupcakes: Place ingredients in the order listed in a mixing bowl. Blend well.
- Preheat oven to 350F. Line muffin cups with paper liners.
- Spoon batter into liners until half full. Bake until cupcakes spring back with lightly pressed.
- To make the frosting: Whip cream until stiff peaks form. Fold in brown sugar. Spread on cooled cupcakes.
