Chipotle Pepper Hummus

1 (15-ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed well
2tablespoons sesame tahini
1 chipotle chili in adobo plus 1 tablespoon sauce from can
1 garlic clove
2teaspoons sweet paprika
Juice of 1 lime
Salt, to taste


  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor fitted with the metal blade. Process until smooth. Makes 2 cups.
