Chili Cheese Bread

A great addition to any meal or serve with soup and salad for a light meal.

Ingredients

1 (16-ounce) loaf French bread
1 cup shredded reduced-fat Cheddar cheese
1 (4-ounce) can chopped green chiles, drained
1/2 cup chopped tomato
1/4 cup light mayonnaise
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Slice bread diagonallly, slicing through but not completely to the bottom.  Combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl.  Spread mixture between cut surfaces of bread.  Wrap bread in foil.  Bake for 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
