Cheesy Chicken Burgers

Ingredients
- 2pounds ground chicken breast
- 2tablespoons olive oil
- 6slices thick cut bacon
- 4-- green onions
- 1cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 3-- fresh jalapenos (seeded and finely diced)
- 1tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/2cup sour cream
- 1/2cup salsa
- 1package hamburger buns
- -- salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
Dice bacon strips and fry in a large skillet until golden brown and crunchy. Remove cooked bacon from skillet and set aside on paper towels to cool.
Combine Ground Chicken, salt, pepper, garlic powder, cheese, green onion, jalapenos, and cooled bacon in a large bowl.
Lightly coat hands with olive oil (to prevent chicken mixture from sticking to your hands) and form burgers. Then Place chicken burgers into a large skillet and cook on medium heat until done. (internal temperature of 150 to 160) Let burgers rest for five minutes the internal temperature will continue to rise about 10 degrees
Place each burger on a toasted hamburger bun and top with salsa and sour cream. Serve
