Cherry Bounce

A dessert beverage that packs a punch (along with a load of cherries). Serve over ice cream if you like.

Ingredients

4 cups pitted red tart cherries
1/2 cup sugar
1 quart good-quality vodka

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large airtight jar or container. Set aside for at least 1 month, occasionally tipping the jar upside down and back again to mix. The alcohol content increases the longer you let it sit.
