Cheddar Croutons

  • Yield 6 to 8 servings

The perfect cheesy, crunchy bite to dress up soups or salads.


1 small baguette or Italian bread with or without sesame seeds
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon dried oregano


  1. Slice the bread 1/2-inch thick slightly on an angle. Place the bread slices on a baking pan lined with foil or parchment paper. Sprinkle with cheese and dried oregano. Bake 8 to 10 minutes until cheese is melted and golden brown on the surface.
