PrintEmail Ingredients Spicy Garlic Marinade:3 large garlic cloves, minced1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper (or to taste)1 tablespoon olive oil1 tablespoon lemon juice1 teaspoon saltShrimp:1 pound medium raw shrimp, shelled and deveined3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil2 medium bell peppers, any color, juilienned1 small white onion, halved lengthwise and thinly sliced1 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper (or to taste)1/2 cup candied walnuts, to garnish Instructions Combine marinade ingredients in a large bowl. Add shrimp and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes. Heat a nonstick wok or saute pan over high heat and coat with 2 tablespoons oil. Add shrimp, reserving marinade. Saute until shrimp turms pink, about 2 minutes. Remove and place in a bowl. Recoat wok with remaining 1 tablespoon oil. Add peppers, onion, salt, red pepper and reserved shirmp marinade. Saute until peppers soften, about 1 minute. Return shrimp to wok, stir, and heat through. Garnish with candied walnuts. Serve hot with rice or pasta.
