PrintEmail Ingredients 3 cups biscuit mix3/4 cup brown sugar1/4 cup all-purpose flour1 tablespoon instant coffee powder1/2 cup milk1 cup mashed (2) bananas1 -- beaten egg1 cup snipped dates1/2 cup chopped walnuts Instructions In mixing bowl combine biscuit mix, brown sugar and flour. Dissolve coffee powder in milk. Add all at once to dry ingredients with bananas and egg. Beat until blended. Stir in dates and nuts. Grease bottoms of two 1 pound coffee cans. Divide batter between cans. Bake in 350F oven for 50 minutes. Loosen sides of loaves with spatula and remove from cans.
