California Date Shake

Dates add both flavor and texture to this unusual smoothie.


10 dates, pitted
3/4 cup vanilla frozen yogurt or ice cream
1 cup 2 percent low-fat milk
6 ice cubes


  1. Cut dates into small pieces. Put them in a blender with the frozen yogurt, millk and ice cubes.
  2. Blend until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and serve.
